Tips on How to Speed Clean before a Holiday
4th of July is coming and your house is going to need a cleaning. There are so many things to do that cleaning is just another task standing in line. If you have to clean your home in the last hour, we will show you how to do that in this article.
Find several tips on how to do house cleaning fast. Take a look.
Freshen up the house in minutes
First things first, open the windows to let some fresh air in. This will freshen up the rooms and remove bad odors. You can also use air freshener to deodorize the house. If you are going to vacuum the carpet, it is a good idea to spread some scented powder on the floor. If you want your house to smell good, you can light scented candles with your favorite aroma.
The best way to put back things in order quickly is to focus on the area which will be most visited by guests. Pretending to be a stranger in your own house will work perfectly. Walk around the place and look for things that look a bit out of place. Just think about what guests are going to see when they first come in. Then take an all-purpose cleaning spray and follow the path your guests are going to go. On the way, spray and clean all objects that need cleaning.

Clean the bedrooms
Be sure to gather all the dirty clothing and put it in the laundry basket. Take a microfiber cloth and dust around the room. As you are doing this, watch for stuff on the floor and knickknacks that don’t belong there. Store them away. Wipe all mirrors, lamps and cupboards. Save time by going over the surface once (start cleaning from top until you gradually reach the bottom). Then vacuum the floor.

Clean the bathroom
Spray the shower, tub, sink and toilet with a bathroom cleaner. While you wait for the product to work, focus on other surfaces. For example, you can clean the mirror. Scrub the bowl and flush. Wipe the rest of the toilet. Use different wipes for each area.
Next step is to clean the sink. Use an old toothbrush to scrub spots that are hard-to -reach.
Wipe the shower. If you have curtains, wipe them too. You don’t need to perform a deep cleaning. You are in a rush, remember? Just go quickly over the surfaces and don’t spend too much time scrubbing.
Finally, mop the floor, starting from the farthest end until you reach the doorway. You’re done here. Move to the next room.

Clean the kitchen
Put all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher and let it do the task. If you have things on the countertops that need to be stored in the cabinets, put them where they belong. The more free space you have, the tidier the room looks. Scrape countertops and wipe down kitchen appliances.
Use wet wipes or a microfiber cloth and an all-purpose cleaner to clean the counters. Sweep the floor. Proceed to the living room.

Make sure you gather all the items that need to be cleared. Put them where they belong or throw them away.
Dust all the surfaces. Spray all glass surfaces with glass cleaner and wipe down in circular motions. Vacuum the floor.

And last but not least…
Entrance hall
The first thing that guests will see when they come at your door will be… the entry way. If you want to make a good impression, don’t forget to tidy the place and to make it warm and welcoming. Make sure you put all the hats, gloves and scarves in the closet. Dust any objects that need dusting and remove all cobwebs if there are any. Provide good lighting in the entry area. Don’t forget to display the holiday decorations.
Well done!

You would have to be sprinting at a pretty good pace to get these tasks done in the time frames you outline. Otherwise, it is a good plan!
On the other hand, if you maintain your house on a regular basis, a speed clean like this is totally reasonable.
Great post on how to clean quickly. I swear my parents read this post years ago! We were always cleaning the house.
The good thing about that… I carried it into adulthood.
Have an amazing day!
This is an add to the favorites list for sure! The fact that it doesnt take that long to do it all is a HUGE plus as well! Thank You!
