Irritant
An irritant is a substance that causes temporary discomfort or inflammation to the skin, eyes, respiratory system, or other parts of the body. In disaster restoration, irritants, such as dust, chemicals, or cleaning agents, must be managed carefully to protect workers and occupants during cleanup and remediation.
